This masterpiece collaboration jujitsu belt was commissioned by Modern Flow Brand with artwork designed by Meerkatsu. Each BJJ color belt has a unique chess piece design, and custom embroidery can be added for your own personal touch. Add sewn-on 1/2 inch rank stripes and/or 3/4 inch instructor trim to represent your progress. This Kataaro exclusive is sure to earn you attention on the mat and last a lifetime.

Note: Washing this belt may result in shrinkage of up to 5%.

The chess piece belt colors were decided based on proximity to the “King”. The chess piece starting positions are King, Queen, Bishop, Knight, Rook, and then Pawn in the front row. This corresponds to jujitsu belt ranking as Red, Black, Brown, Purple, Blue, and White, respectively. If you prefer the design belt color to correspond to the modern chess point value system of King=infinite, Queen=9, Rook=5, Bishop=3, Knight=3, and Pawn=1, you may request the color variation for the given chess piece.

Up to two lines of custom embroidery may be added to each side. Logos may be uploaded if desired and other features may be specified in the Special Instructions box below.

With the Front-Back embroidery option, up to two lines may be embroidered on the back of each side as well. Please specify the back-surface embroidery details in the Special Instructions box.

THE PROCESS: After the order is placed and payment is received, Kataaro will CRAFT your belt and start digitizing any requested logos. We will then email a PROOF of the embroidery design for your review. Once you approve the design, Kataaro will EMBROIDER the belt and ship your order after careful inspection for quality and accuracy. Click the diagram below for more info.

I received my belt today am I am very happy. I ordered a 110 inch belt and it says it came at 109.5 inches. I measured at 109 exactly. Little short but pretty sure I knew about that possibility. Thank you for your amazing products. I am extremely happy. Have a great day.

I got the Standard Modern Flow Blue Belt as a Christmas gift from my sister and mom 2 years ago. They got my name embroidered on the belt, which was a really nice touch. The belt fits perfectly still; I am at the academy 4-5 days a week, and the belt has held up like a champ. The blue is still a nice deep blue color, the belt isn't worn out or peeling from the seams like a lot of other belts I've had. The knot ties tightly and stays tied well enough, but afterwards it is still nice and holds its shape. I also never need to worry about which belt is mine in the pile of belts after a tough roll if it does fall off. I would definitely recommend this belt to anyone looking for a nicer belt. I will be getting the purple belt edition of the Modern Flow when the time arrives for that.
